About

Phil is a customer-focused, entrepreneurial business and technology leader with a passion for leading change toward a vision for the future, growing and developing people as part of the journey to get there. He has a background in customer service and support leadership in the technology industry, with a proven track record of building high-performing cross-cultural teams in a 24×7 global cloud services environment at Microsoft Corporation. He has an understanding of the challenges faced by small and medium businesses, having owned and operated his own businesses in the food and beverage industry in New Zealand and the U.S.

As a professional coach and consultant, Phil is passionate about connecting with and coaching people in a business or personal context who are seeking to discover and reach their full potential. Phil loves to encourage those he is working with to imagine the “what-ifs” that bring clarity to their vision, enabling them to evaluate and analyze the varied paths before them, inspiring them to turn their imaginings into visible action. He brings intuition, a sense of humor, and a personal passion for growing and learning to every interaction, building strong relationships with his clients that enable them to make breakthroughs in their lives.

He earned a Master’s degree with first-class honors in Information Systems Management from Massey University in New Zealand. He holds coaching certifications as a John Maxwell Coach and from Results Coaching Systems. He is a recipient of Microsoft’s most prestigious award, the Circle of Excellence Award for Cloud Leadership. Originally from New Zealand, Phil grew up in Central America, returned to New Zealand to complete his college education, and then after working in the technology industry as well as owning his own food and beverage businesses, he migrated with his family to the U.S. in 2001. He speaks fluent Spanish, enjoys cooking, great coffee, volleyball, and water skiing. He and his wife Rosaura live with their two teenage boys in Arizona.
