About

Ms. Cano de Schenk brings strong entrepreneurial, multicultural, and bilingual executive management and leadership experience to Lapin International. Jannette has worked on several domestic and international projects, elevating the performance of leaders and individuals at all levels and in diverse industries.

Previously, Ms. Cano de Schenk was a founding member of CIMA International, a global data management and digital transformation company. As part of the startup, Jannette served as Financial Officer and General Manager and was responsible for financial control, corporate governance, human resources, and oversight of day-to-day operations. As a member of the Board of Directors, she oversaw the expansion and business implementation into Latin America. However, her commitment to pursuing her own life purpose led her to embark on her journey as an Executive Coach.

Jannette is a coaching consultant with a passion and dedication for bringing the best in everything and everyone. She starts every journey grounded in the appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual and a strong belief in their inherent capability. Jannette’s strength lies in her curiosity to explore the unseen, question the assumed, and the excitement in discovering a new perspective. She uses her honest, caring, and tactful approach to help her clients clarify where they are and want to be, discover what drives them and blocks their path, and support them in creating a plan to achieve their purpose and fulfillment. It is coaching that embraces the whole being.

Jannette’s bachelor’s in healthcare management and her Master-Degrees in Business Administration and Management Information Science created a foundation for her career. Since her commitment to becoming a coach of real impact, she has obtained her certifications as an Executive Coach from CTI (Coaching Teaching Institute), Lead by Greatness Coach certification from Lapin International, as well as several other certifications such as in Active Leadership, Personal Leadership, Organizational Culture, Finding Purpose and Meaning, and Accelerating Coach Excellence. She also became an Associate Accredited coach with ICF (International Coaching Federation).

As part of her life purpose, she is a passionate advocate for the environment, youth education and child development, and animal protection. She serves as a mentor for High School Students at Urban Promise as well as a translator for the MatchDog Rescue program. She also leads the SupaVida foundation; a non-profit organization focused on education and environmental initiatives.
