Cherlyn Elam, VP of Operations for Lapin, oversees finance, marketing, client projects, and the day-to-day operations for the organization. Responsible for managing internal processes and procedures, she focuses on improving efficiency while simultaneously implementing organizational strategies and optimizing company assets.

Prior to joining Lapin in 2015, Cherlyn had 12 years of financial experience split between working with startup entrepreneurial companies and for Wells Fargo Bank. This experience is what honed her ability to take a big picture idea and dig in, managing every meticulous detail through to reality. Cherlyn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Utah Valley University and has utilized her professional and academic experience as the primary tech editor for two University Risk Management textbooks.

Cherlyn lives in Tucson, Arizona where she enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine year-round.
